About Kori
I’m Kori, founder of Luminous Heart Sanctuary, a birth doula, an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher, a meditation guide, and a mother.
My work centers on helping women prepare mentally and emotionally for birth through Birth, From Fear to Trust™. I also offer private yoga and meditation experiences for individuals and small groups.
Motherhood, personal loss, and seasons of rebuilding have shaped how I understand support. They’ve taught me to value presence, honest connection, and practical tools we can return to when life feels uncertain.
Why I Created Birth, From Fear to Trust™
In my conversations with mothers, many have shared that birth unfolded differently than they expected—and that they weren’t prepared for the unknown.
I think about that a lot.
Information matters, but preparing for birth also means making space for your emotions, understanding your responses to fear, and practicing ways to feel supported when plans change.
I created Birth, From Fear to Trust™ to bring these pieces together. This self-guided 12-week online journey combines mindfulness, nervous system awareness, meditation, breath, gentle movement, and reflection to support you through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into motherhood.
My Approach
I bring gentle guidance, attentive listening, and respect for your choices to my work.
Whether you’re preparing for birth or joining me for a private wellness session, we begin with your needs and experience. Movement, breath, and meditation offer opportunities to pause, notice what you’re feeling, and reconnect with yourself.
You don’t need previous experience. There is room to ask questions, adapt a practice, and find what feels supportive for you.
